Facebook Credits Starting in India from July 1 2011

Social networking giant, Facebook has declared that very soon its innovative service, Facebook Credits, which has been launched in more than 11 countries is now coming to India.

Beginning from July 1, 2011, Facebook Credits from Facebook proposes itself to be alternative payment substitute on the social networking giant site for users. The payment preference would be supported by Live Gamer. Facebook credits would permit users to purchase virtual currency and virtual goods that are being made accessible to them in their Facebook apps.

The only problem for users that the credit service doesn’t allocates payment in Indian Rupees, may be in future this problem will be rectified. Therefore, users would have to buy 50 credits for $5.

In India, the credit service can be used through MOLepoints, Moneybooker, Western Union Quick Pay.
