The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has given permission to India to register website addresses in seven regional languages such as Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali and Telugu.
Nevertheless there is some issues related to script as obstacles connecting to managing the scripts are taking time to be resolved, people still have to remain at least six months to be competent to see these website addresses. To start with, the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) is giving out website addresses in Devnagari script - those languages that exercise the Hindi alphabets which consist of languages such as Hindi, Marathi, and Nepali.

While those Indian languages which use scripts different from Devanagari itself cause a problem; others which draw on the same Devanagari script create confronts or dispute of a diverse nature. There are also confronts as well linking to exercise of keyboards and fonts in regional languages; and above all the computer being used requirements to be attuned.
