Microsoft is now came in to full fledge social networking business by launching So.cl, a social based network that is currently working in beta and was tested by university students in the year 2011.
Microsoft is making point here that they have launched this So.cl as an experimental based research project, developed by its FUSE Labs, spotlighting most on discovering the potential of social search for the function of learning.
It can be log in via Facebook or Windows Live account. So.cl uses Facebook verification, which incorporates user's name and profile picture from Facebook will also be seen at So.cl. And, So.cl search is powered by Bing. Microsoft exercises the public Bing APIs to demonstrate search result data.
